Halewood International approached R&R to develop and manufacture a product twist for a leading brand of pre-mixed alcoholic ‘shots’.
The plastic shot glasses were filled and sealed the right way up, but due to their unique shape needed to be packaged upside-down. This meant they had to be collected from one conveyor, inverted, and presented onto a second conveyor within a very confined space.
R&R achieved the customer’s requirements with a precision-crafted set of guide rods, which used the product’s momentum to carry it through the 180° twist and onto the second conveyor
